This site is dedicated to Barry Fry. I call it "The
Life of Barry in Pictures". I hope whoever visits
this site will enjoy some of the pictures of Barry -
from his baby pictures to his "silver" years.
Unfortunately Barry did not get to retire and enjoy
the remainder of his years doing what he enjoyed
most in life - fly fishing. Barry leaves many of his friends from the FTandL based in
Fairfax Virginia, they are going to miss him. In August of 2011 he was diagnosed with AML (Acute Myeloid
Leukemia). After two rounds of Chemotherapy and in less than 3 months it took his life. He spent 3 months at Blackpool
Victoria Hospital and towards the end he was transferred to St. Mary's Hospice, Ulverston, Cumbria,
England.
Barry was the oldest son to Roly and Bessie Fry, brother to Brian Fry, and
sister-in-law Susie Fry . He leaves behind his two sons Ashley and Bradley Fry who are presently living in England.

Many thanks to the Staff at St Mary's Hospice of Ulverston Cumberland. Even though Barry spent only a few days at the Hospice they looked after him and made him feel at home.

Thank you to all the staff on the Hematology Ward at the Blackpool Victoria Hospital. They did a tremendous job of taking care of Barry through
out his ordeal.
